Starting count:  9,120 words
Ending count:  12,198 words

That is 3,078 words for day four. Not bad at all for a day when I had nosebleed after nosebleed and a pounding headache.

Also, the really fun part of the novel is about to kick in since the set-up and characters are ready to go....

Oh, oh, I just realized that you have an advantage over my. Insomnia. I could write more per day if I hardly slept at all, too!

Ouch. I still have a shovel, and I am not afraid to use it.

If it comes down to layoffs, I don't think you have to worry. You're too valuable. I think (hope) that other than his sons, you would be the very last person on the chopping block. You know the job too well, and you make a habit of making certain things are right.

I think you only have to worry if the business shuts down completely.

Of course, I could be wrong.
